Bubly
Sparkling water with a sparkling personality.
When Pepsi came to our team, the sparkling water category was pretty flat. Think pinkies up, “Sparkling or still?” kind of brands.
So we created a new player that could stand out on personality alone
We started with the name. Then, through a character workshop, we wrestled with deep, existential questions like: “Does the can … speak?” The character we landed inspired greetings on the tabs and ‘thought bubbles’ on the back of the can.

FarOut
A brand that goes its own way.
After my own Appalachian Trail thruhike, I reached out to the team behind my most essential gear item: my navigation app. Lucky for me, they were looking to go in a new direction.
Guthook Guides was ready to go ‘FarOut’ with a new trail name and a new identity.
We loved that the new name was a nod to the wild, remote places the app takes you to and the culture of the people who use it. The brand followed its lead. Everything from the ‘F’ arrow in the logo to the Gatewood Pink color to the wayfinding iconography takes the road less travelled.

Going
A name that takes you to new places.
Back in 2015, Scott Keyes started sending out a travel deals newsletter from his basement. It didn’t take long for Scott’s Cheap Flights to catch on—and outgrow its name.
“Going” is meant to take them beyond cheap flights into a whole wide world of possibility.
We loved that the new name tapped into the “just go” mindset that’s always been a part of the brand. The deals at Going don’t last forever, so the name urges you to grab them before they’re going, going, gone. It brought a sense of action and wonder to spark spontaneity.

Beneduce Vineyards Classic Series
A wine brand with deep roots.
When you think of New Jersey, you probably don’t think of wine. But Beneduce Vineyard’s estate-grown wines reveal why New Jersey is called the Garden State.
The new labels firmly root the brand in its agricultural heritage and future.
Inspired by a modern take on vintage Farmers’ Almanacs, the new labels are typographic so the tone has to work hard. Humble, confident, and passionate, it speaks to the wine’s roots right on the farm: “Grown by Sunlight, Made by Moonlight.”

Beneduce Vineyards Crafted Series
A brand fit for wines made by hand.
After our collaboration on the Classic series, Beneduce Vineyards tasked us to help with their second portfolio of hand-crafted wines—wines that showcase the hand of the winemaker.
These new labels do just that with Italian hand gestures drawn by hand.
Inspired by Speak Italian, graphic designer Bruno Munari’s 1952 book, each label gestures to the wine and playfully points to the winemaker’s Italian-American heritage. The tone serves a wink to those among us who “talk with their hands.”

Etsy
A character that’s truly something special.
Etsy has long been a destination for vintage, handmade, and one-of-a-kind finds. But in a crowded digital marketplace, how could we help people find the special amongst the slop?
They needed a voice that could guide you to that special something.
If Etsy was meant to be a place where you could find something you can’t get anywhere else, perfect for you, a loved one, or an occasion, then the character of a sommelier was a natural fit—someone helping you find something suited to your needs and tastes.
